The most bang:buck would be the diff gear. It probably has a 3.08 or even worse a 2.73. Putting a 4.10 in there would be dramatic yet reasonable.

I had a 2.56 open diff behind a 200-4r. HATED that transmission with a passion.

Swap in a 4.3L More power and a ****ty sound. The sound of a GM 6/90* is not a good one. 200hp/260tq isnt horrible for a base truck engine though.

A little update. The 'Loader has been doing great. The stock fly and clutch definitely don't have the ripping response of the CM solid fly/ puck clutch. But I'm enjoying the smooth take-offs and less noise.

Doesn't seem to be any difference in MPG. All freeway and aiming for efficiency, I'm consistently getting 31mpg.

Just got promoted to foreman again at the new job site I'm on, so I should easily have my loan paid off by the end of the year. And that's good because the baby is due in January and I'll be taking my 6 weeks paternity leave.

I don't think it will do anything for downforce or aero dynamics. It was more of an appearance upgrade than anything else.

I'm very pleased with them. I had to rework them quite a bit because they were produced to be installed at a much steeper angle that didn't really fit what I wanted. Was able to get them on just how I envisioned.

I got them for $150 w/shipping. Maybe a little steep for what they are physically. But they are high quality.
