Problem with my backup camera guidelines

A week or so ago, from what I remember, the guidelines for my backup camera went from multiple lines to one orange one. Anyone else have this issue? I've tried turning the guidelines off and then turning them back on, to no avail. Any ideas?

This is an all the time type of thing for me, regardless if the car is in the shade or out in the sun.

I had this happen to me, along with the Mylink screen becoming unresponsive a few months back. I disconnected the battery for a few hours, and when I reconnected, all was well again.

When the lines ARE working, does anyone's turn/bend when you turn the steering wheel? Or are they stationary (which makes ZERO sense to me)? Mine are stationary....stay straight which doesn't help me judge where the car will end up when I'm backing up and turning the wheel. If seen others that twist or move on other cars.

I haven't seen any that turn, all the ones I've seen, are straight and stationary, as yours, which is normal.

Yea, ones that turn are in more "expensive" cars. Sonics just stay straight

Wouldn't doing a factory reset through the settings on MyLink accomplish the same thing as disconnecting the battery? Or would that bring me back to the version prior to the last update?

My back up guide lines also disappeared yesterday after I had the oil changed. The settings are setup right and I was just getting used to these.

my wife has a 2016 Equinox. The lines bend with the turn of the steering wheel. I would think that it doesn't make sense for the lines to remain stationary as the whole point of having this system in any vehicle is to assist the driver while parking and moving in reverse. I would contact the dealer to see if the system was operating properly.
