My self and a few other were wondering if there would ever be a "race" category to gather all 1/4 mile times, track pics, autoX, rallyX and such. I'm not talking about like a street race crap, but times around different tracks. I like to go to Vegas and Utah's miller Motorsports. Just an idea

It would be hard to post autox times being the track change every time.

Well we could always make this the thread for racing pics and videos .

I doubt I'll autox more than a couple of times and maybe a handful of drag runs. I just don't like stressing my DD too often. I do one to make it to some races eventually thou, had to hang up the leathers on 2 wheels so I'm kinda stuck to 4 but the itch never goes away.

Can it get broken down with sub forums? Drag racing, autox, road course would go a long way to make it easier. I don't want to dig through pages off stuff about straight lines when I'm a cone killer.

Just start a thread about each topic and we will call it the master thread about that topic and sticky it.

No offense, but the point of a forum is to have multiple threads for different subjects. No one wants to dig though a 40 page thread to find info on tire pressures. Having a master tire pressure thread makes sense. Having one for all of auto cross doesn't.

Why does having one thread for autocross not make sense? Every time someone tries a new set up they are gonna make a new thread. So do you want to dig through one page or multiple treads?

Multiple threads.

Off the top of my head these would all be useful:
A Newb guide (what to do when you get there, how events run, what to bring/leave at home, etc.). Also to be used for questions for people just starting.
Tires
Tire pressure
Limit of one thread/person for their setups.
Discussion of rule changes
Pictures

Ok, I will give you the 3 threads.

A newb guide ( witch can be found on dang near every clubs web site, atleast mine are)

Set up/ tech section ( I don't think it should be limited to one post per person, but should should not get side tracked)

And a general sonic racing picture/ video


Personally I would rather dig though one thread for everything ( excluding picture )

Just did snow rally racing this weekend... Unbelievable fun! But I have a specific tire pressure I run for autoX/track racing. 48 fronts and 45 rears. But I get what you guys are saying, need sub pages for different things like setups, pics/vids and newby questions

Ya, sonics push bad, 48 fronts keep from rolling over themselves, and lower it pass to pass

What size rims do you have?

I don't have that issue with my 15's. 38 cold and mine is perfect.

Stock rs rims. 17's
