For a short while my Z24 had a 2.5" DP that ended at the subframe. Made fantastic sounds, especially with the WG dump tube right next to it. That is what this turbo is supposed to end up, if that project ever happens.
I suspect that the 1.8 could never even come close to utilizing this turbo. I have had it sitting around since roughly 2007. It was previously on a different Z24. I have doubts about actually building another LD9 though.

Honestly the GT2560 that I'm using is likely a better match for a Pressure Ratio use on the 1.8 than the 1.4. I hate to say it, but the name of the game to reach 300+ hp is gonna have to be high-boost. Which I am building the engine to handle. But the 2560 doesn't look excellent for high boost. The idea was more airflow over high-boost, but the limited RPM and displacement are a better candidate for high boost (30+) to make serious power.
