I cant use my compound anymore. It was from when i was a kid and I now draw 1/2" past its limit. It also tops out at 45# draw weight. Personally I prefer a nice recurve or long bow over the compound.

I love my compounds, the cams, the pre-loaded limbs, the sound, the feel, and of all the amazing things in the archery world.. that LETOFF. I'm getting an Elite bow this summer, holding it back is like NOTHING.

One day I'd like to get into traditional archery, shoot like the man, Uncle Ted...instinctive, no sights.

I did better with the long bow my dad made than i did with my compound with pins on it. Then again I used to shoot handguns better instinctive than using the sights. I need to see if my dad still has his Bear take down recurve.

I really have to work to be even remotely comfortable with firearms. I enjoy them but they do not feel natural to me. My bow.. natural, an extension of me.

Besides, I'll be very useful come time for the Zompoc. You HAD better find that bow... ;p

I have been around firearms since I was little. Started shooting when I was 7ish. Im not worried about zombies.

And I know your thoughts on WM. trust me, I worked there. I prefer local business but we are so fkn rural out here WM has literally eaten every little competitor. I do every ounce of shopping I can elsewhere but sometimes it's a necessary evil. This time I was just there to burn time between class.
