I know!...its actually from before. I had the muffler like 3 inches back and it melted the underside of the bumper and effed up the paint. Its fixed now but the soot is there to stay! :blankface:

Don't know, I was told clay bar pulls dirt out of the paint.

I've used a clay bar to pull stuff (iron deposits, paint, road debris) off the paint I wasn't sure it would be able to remove and it worked. Just make sure clean the area well prior to using it and then reapply wax because it strips any protection off all the way down to the clear coat.

Use some bar and tar remover with the clay bar and from what I heard, it works well

I haven't tried the clay bar on tar, if you notice it right away it couldn't hurt to give it a try. If you let it sit on the clear it may stain it.

Are our cars even clear coated? I know they did something different with the paint but I'm not sure what. Sadly the little black dots stand out badly on the orange

8.3 cummins in our toy hauler. Never messed with the waste gate on it. On the other 5.9's we had we did. The truck is tuned though
