This is the second time I have opened this thread today.

Is there any good reason a genral question has to be linked to a specific vendor? I think not.

Is there any reason to play these games. Apparently there is and so we go.

The first thread I opened has disappeared.

I fully expect this one will disappear.

I foresee an evening a bouncing threads off the wall until I am banned or decide the Sonic Owners Forum no longer meets my interests.

I will, of course, post a farewell thread if I am allowed should it come to that.

This is my answer to the original question:

Trifecta changes auto shift algorithms, resulting in a tighter shift.

All tuners, Trifecta included, change some basic items such as engine operating temperature, which positively affects power and negatively impacts fuel mileage efficiency.

Trifecta was widely used by the Camaro but not the Cadillac crowd using the LLT V6 engine, which is a naturally aspirated engine. I think it is also popular amongst many of the LFX V6 Camaro users. I do find it interesting that the same engine is used by different divisions and one embraces performance upgrades and the other for all intents and purposes ignores it.

I am confused to the purpose of your thread? I'm assuming its about the effects of a tune on a n/a motor?

Confusion understood. My original post addressed a question that I thought was locked but after starting discovered the thread in the 1.8 Section.

Perhaps if you would search "threads started by yourself", which is done on the "statistics" tab in your user profile, for threads that you thought vanished you would be able to see that it had not vanished, but merely moved, and therefore avoid double posting.
