Remote Start not working

I have a '12 sonic 2LT 1.8 auto and the key fob has the remote start button on it.

Here's my dilemma, I hut the combo with the lock button and then remote start button and the car lights turn on as if remote start were going to work then nothing happens.

Any ideas?

As has been stated here before, if you have an active cel on, remote start will not
work. other than that...don´t know.
