Removing stock horn

I had the fog lamp blanks out so I could dremel them out for CAI and a set of effect LEDs, while I had the port side one off I went ahead and swapped in a new horn, very easy access from there.

Will the stock relay support a WOLO bad Boy air horn? Or do I need to replace it as well? Sorry to dig this old thread up

Yep, that looks like the same one I put in.

i just replaced mine with the wolo bad boy today. I just jacked up the front left tire, removed the liner, and did my thing. I didn't even have to remove the washer fluid reservoir.

Definitely sounds better, but I do miss hearing the horn when I lock the doors, or when I use the locator button to play the horn 3 times.

Is their a reason why the lock tone will not work with aftermarket horn?

The Wolo horn has an air pump that takes about 1 second to spool up.

Like turbo lag...sorta. Stock horn has an instant reaction.

I hear my Wolo make a noise when I lock the doors.

Me too! Doesn't qualify as cheap entertainment, but entertaining none the less.

Hi guys been thinking this thru( over analyze really). If I leave the stock horns hooked up in addition to the air horn wouldn't the stock horn give the chirp for alarm set and air would spool up normally when really pushing horn button?

The bumper is off while Beastlick does a new grill for me.
