Removing the Bowtie?

Anyone try this on the front and/or rear of the Sonic yet?

I know on early production camaro's, there were studs on the back of the rear bowtie, that stuck through the trunk, and newer model camaro's, they were just glued on. And the fronts of all camaro's were all just glued on. very easy to take off.

Second part of this thread, anyone know if all chevy logo's are the same shape/size? I'm talking about the back part, that lays against the car. Could I take a bowtie from the front of a camaro (i have an extra one) and replace the front bowtie from the sonic?

There is a slot in the trunk of the sedan behind the Bowtie, not all bowties are the same in size or shape. Opticon removed his rear bowtie for a holden badge.

Basically just heat, pull, and remove excess adhesive. But like TMO said, and I found out the hard way, there are two guide pins in the rear badge leaving two holes in the trunk. The front I am unsure about but would imagine there are clips of some kind.

First, there are a few threads on this, you should be able to find them with a quick search.

But why would you take one off just to put another on? What makes the Camaro bowtie better except just being glued on, and of course, being from a Camaro?
(the camaro bowtie won't make your car as fast as a camaro tho )

The reason I ask about the camaro bowtie, is because i know of a vendor that paints bowties, and it happens to be on a camaro forum. Didn't know if they were interchangable. I see no vendor like that on this site. I supposed i could take them off and send them to him, or to another painter...

The front might look weird with the bowtie running into the grille area. The back would clean up nice completely shaved.

I don't recall what thread or what user, but someone with a silver sedan pulled the rear bowtie and filled the slit with a silver silicon and it looked clean.

The front bowtie can be removed by getting a Holden Barina bumper.

not sure about redneck trucks, but i do know those were all done for the 2010+ camaro's...
