Ruff idle, blowes a ton of smoke out of exhaust under acceleration

Okay so I have a 2015 1.8 chevy sonic. I just replaced the head gasket. Put it all back together and it was running ruff at idle and it had a p0171 code so I ended up replacing the pcv thinking maybe the milky oil or something messed it up. Ended up doing nothing so I decided to just unplug the battery let it reset or what ever then take it for a drive to see if it would clear it self up. Ended up throwing the p0171, p0496. So I was like maybe it's the evap canister so tested that by blowing through it and clicking it open with a battery and it all worked fine. So I drove it around a bit more and put it under some harder acceleration and all the sudden it blew tons of blue/white smoke that definitely was oil. And now its throwing p0131, p0137, and p0171. (Both o2 sensors and running lean). No idea what could be causing this my thoughts are something with the pcv but not sure what. Fuel trims are like off 40 percent each at idle

Pressure tested all cylinders and they are all fine. Still really looks like the pcv but I literally just replaced it yesterday so I am really not sure how it could be that.

Why was the head gasket replaced? What was the problem there? Did you loose a lot of coolant due to over heating the engine? Warped head now???

Sounds to me like the head gasket blew again. Possibly wasn't aligned right or sealed correctly.

Also, sounds like the original P0171 still may be a vacuum leak. Check the connection from the intake manifold to the brake booster. That small plastic nipple molded into the right side of the intake manifold can crack or break off easily and may not be easily seen.
Wiggle vacuum connections gently around a bit with the engine running and see if the rough idle goes away.

But only AFTER finding out why it's blowing smoke. . . . I suspect the head gasket repair went awry.

I replaced the headgasket because car overheated and was blown. The head was warped but the head was resurfaced. The smoke is definitely oil by smell and look. I have pressure tested the cylinders and done a compression test all of which was more than fine. No loss of coolant either no milky oil no oil in the coolant no pressure in the coolant system. I can test the coolant for any combustion gasses but I honestly doubt it. I have wiggled around some vacuum lines while its on haven't really seen anything. I can check that nipple on the intake in a bit. Thanks for the help been banging my head against the wall for like a week with this thing

That water pump is what caused the original head gasket that was also replaced though.

Checked the line to the brake booster unfortunately looks fine no leaks

90k still has like 90k on it

Still having problems anyone got any ideas? It runs fine till it warms up then it just stalls out.

I hope you fixed it, but if you had both p0171 and p0496, then you should have just replaced the evap purge valve- even if that blowing test worked or whatever. They're only like $20 I think and those two codes together are almost 100% evap purge valve related.

Yup ended up ordering a evap canister and that fixed it. No idea where the smoke came from but its gone now.
