Rust On Muffler?

Does anyone else have rust on their muffler? I bought my car this week and just noticed it yesterday. I was told by service that this is normal and they couldn't do anything about it. Not exactly what I wanted to hear after owning the car for 4 days.

similarly to what has already been said on this forum, its because of the welds....
its normal, my car has it, other sonics have it, cars of other manufacturers have it

I just found the other thread on the rust issue. I was in such a rush to post, I forgot to do a search on the subject.
