SCR button no longer works for iPhone

I have the Connectivity Package for my 2012 LT Hatchback. I've been enjoying the USB plugin for listening to songs from my iPhone. I use the SCR button to skip songs while driving.

Now the SCR button doesn't work when my iPhone is plugged in to the USB port. The SCR works fine to change channels on the radio, so I don't think it's the button.

Is there a setting for the USB connection that could cause this? Anybody had this happen to them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you recently update the iphone from apple website or did you get download pushed to the phone?

Not recently, no, but that's a good suggestion. This morning I rebooted the phone and also tried a different USB cable. Same result.

BTW, "RS Turbo" is a great handle! Are you gonna get one? It looks sweet.

Per his posts in another thread he is at 2000 which means his Sonic RS order has been picked. Now he just needs the dealer to get allocation and he will be off to the races.

You may have to manually open the iPod app.

Unplug your phone, double click the home button, manually close out all apps, plug back in.

That's how I fixed it. It happened quite often though so I just bought a car charger and use Bluetooth.

I bought this 3-way adapter...
1 end plugs to the power supply in the center console,
1 end plugs to the 3.5mm AUX port on the head unit,
and 1 end plugs to the charging port on my iPod (skipping the 3.5mm headphone jack on the iPod).
This gives me line level output while charging my iPod at the same time.
