I had a friend drive my sonic yesterday. He cut his fingers on a sharp edge of the handle to open/unlock the door. I checked my others and 3 out of the 4 had very sharp edges at the top of the handle. Anyone else come across this? If so did you bring it back to the dealer....I am afraid if I scrape them down I could end up prematurely having the chrome effect pealing off.

Same problem here too. Between that and sticking button on the shifter (which prevents the key from being removed). I know it's a cheap car but really not happy with GMs skimping on materal specs that cause safety issues. Looking now and if I can find anything will post back. Hoping someone else on this forum will have some input too.

ouch.. I dont have the sharp handles or sticking button.. One can have the dealer replace them under warranty if you complain enough? The problem I have with my warranty on interior bits is they'll damage 10 others things while replacing the warrantied part.
The sharp handles for DIY ...maybe take a dremel and grind/brush the edges? The sticking
trans button is a functional issue..I would get that fixed before the door handles.
