Siemens fuel injectors. I have questions

I will be doing my E85 set up soon and I will be in the market for new fuel injectors. So the first thing I noticed is that these injectors have a slighty narrow spray pattern. Since these engines are not direct injection, what are your guys thoughts on these as they have some time to atomize before entering the cylinder.

So the first thing I noticed is that these injectors have a slighty narrow spray pattern. Our engines are port injected. The reason that they are priced lower is because they have a worse spray pattern, akin to a hosing vs misting. They are workable, but they require other methods of control. I think Trifecta???? was working to get the fuel pump to regulate pressure to the fuel rail so that these things would work.

So TLR, you can save a buck with the Siemens and mess with tuning as a workaround, but the Bosch will have better atomization and works out of the box with minimal intervention.

You can flash the FPCM with HPTuners as well to control larger injectors.

well the issue is that I am tuned with BNR, but BNR now also sells 60lb injectors, but they cost 320.

We have been using the 60lb injectors for a little over 2 months now and they work quite well (With HP tuners). We are using them with a return style system though at 43.5 psi. Few pics for reference.

They're significantly cheaper to source for most people. So if you can get the car to work well with them, you open up a whole new product group that would have originally been priced out.

Well that's exactly it for me, I cant justify paying twice that for the Bosch! I know bnr does 60lb injectors now so they have got to have a fuel map for them. I couldn't believe that the little difference on spray pattern would make that big of a difference. But in trying to weigh my options.

The primary reason was not cost, but the flow limitation that you run into at 63.5 lb/hrs. Once you go above this number you will need to half all of the air mass tables, since we would like our turbo kit to be user friendly we wanted to know the absolute limits of the 60lb/hr injectors before going about the limit.

We are currently seeing ~50% injector duty cycle on pump gas.

The main reason for the seimen injector over the bosch was plug and play. The bosch injector requires a different electrical connector.
