Eric is still in shock. A full recovery is unlikely and he will likely require permant therapy to deal with the emotional distress!

This may or may not be related to the site server crash, the link in my sig to my build page stopped working. So I had to manually go to my build page, copy the new address and fix the link in my sig.

Just wanted to share for those with a similar link. You might want to test yours.

I just checked Tmo's and Karen's........ Not working.

Smit's...........working fine.

I noticed mine wasn't working last night, I fixed mine then. I tried a few sigs in the thread I was in, same thing. I meant to say something and got preoccupied. Might have had something to do with it being 3am.

Hold up, I don't need to be site Admin lol. Just offering a hand, Moderator would do

If the server load gets out of control you would need the ability to stop and restart services by way of webadmin or shell. Shell access would be a necessity to fully diagnose and correct issues.

Most likely a ddos went through the subnet and hammered the server. After they pass by on many occasions processes will stay hung processing a bunch of garbage. Again, they just need restarted or HUP'd. Being a moderator or admin in the bbs software doesn't give the tools necessary to fix the aforementioned problem.
