The individual who purchased my Sonic in October of 2018, that I traded for a 2019 Equinox Redline, posted on this Forum one time and then disappeared. This explains a lot. I found this by scanning the QR code from a picture I took of the label when I first got the car. This came up from the QR scan.

Yes, I was saddened to find that my Sonic had been wrecked and sold in a salvage auction somewhere in Iowa.

It was a remarkable little Hatch that I had for almost seven years. I intended to get another Sonic, but the dealer's don't keep but two or three in their inventory; those are usually basic models. Ordering one wasn't a good decision as there were limited incentives.

That's how I ended up with a Equinox as a daily driver. Decent vehicle sold with substantial incentives.

I will never see 40 MPG with my Equinox as I did with the Sonic.

My wife's old Sonic is still alive, and we sometimes see it in the IL Quad Cities at a Hy-Vee store; I believe the owner must work at the store.

The guy that bought my Sonic posted here on this Forum, saying he just acquired a 2012 LTZ Sonic and was installing a cold air intake system; never posted again; two years later I see the fate of my beloved little Inferno Orange Sonic!
