Yep. I love it. I'm ready to jump in on the big turbo upgrade. Waiting for the tuner to get back in touch. If that goes well then I'm going for it. :banana:

Honestly I really feel like we should probably get these EFR turbo's ceramic coated just because they will be mini flame throwers under the hood and it will protect an asset that your purchased from corrosion. You just need to make sure it's done from some place reputable.

You can't really do anything to make the engine last longer under that type of power IMO.

You could always just granny the **** out of it but that type of power in this tiny motor will more than likely decrease engine longevity in the long run.

I really doubt you even need to do that honestly. A door-less 96 jeep Cherokee can beat rice all day long and that has less get up and go than an awd pontiac vibe/matrix which has less getup and go than a bone stock chevy sonic. Plus with EFI live there is no need to have a select a tune just because the throttle position algorithm is like stock and allows you to granny throttle the car all day and you won't see more than 5psi until you mash the gas.
There will be at some point. Right now it's just random post in my vendor forum.
Hell, I don't have anything about it on my website...
Car has 50K on it now. Next week will be a year this thing has been making over 300whp on the stock engine.
Mods are everything I produce for the Sonic, one-off custom turbo kit w/ EFR6258(Borg Warner), full 3" exhaust, ported intake manifold, and my tuning using HPTuners software.

Simple upgrade... Gtx14. So far my auto is holding fine (granted it has only been a week). Cheapest turbo upgrade you can do because everything else will require custom parts.

They want to make sure their customers don't experience product issues due to bad programming.Where you still planning on selling this as a kit? BNR's kit would be nice.......if they didn't require that you buy their tune.
they run a darn good tune for a base line that you could use.. hp tune custom parameters on top of their tune saving you countless hours of building a base map, and then all the umpteen other maps for a stable tune. ..
