We got a receiver hitch installed on a Sedan. Our rack carries 4 bikes fine, you can bring friends when you use a rack instead of trying to stuff bikes inside. Real bikers ride their bikes even if they are a little wet or dirty. Also, a hitch is useful for other things such as a little extra protection in a rear-ender.

It's the transition through the crown of the roads at the intersections that creates a dip. That dip will surely have that tire hitting in a few spots around here. In a few spots, there are even signs stating "DIP" and advising 20 mph.

I like that logic.
Because hanging a bike far off the back of the Sonic using a ridiculous and possibly unsafe bracket causes the tire to hit the road you should buy a Jeep instead.

Still loving my Sonic/SeaSucker combo!
Just an update, I have been using a SeaSucker Hornet on my Sonic for two almost 3 years. I have used it a lot , over a hundred times. I have had no issues at all with it. I have used it on my Sonic, my old Jeep Liberty and my wife's Spark. I have used it year round at all tempatures, I have taken on long road trips, I have driven fast, on interstates and on windy days. I have carried road, mountain and a fat bike. This rack is amazing. I have had no damage to any vehicle or bike. When I first posted in this thread there were a handful of haters. It's amazing how some folks criticize things they know nothing about.
