Now that I finally have my Dusk I wanted to write an initial impression review. Obviously I have only had the car not even a full 24 hours yet but I have several immediate first impressions-
First off this car is simply beautiful! The Ashen Gray exterior and two-tone Black Leather with Mojave inserts and small back suede are stunning. I love the subtle "bodykit" they have put on for the Dusk package and the rear lip spoiler is just small enough to look right and not silly. The 18-inch wheels are probably my favorite part. They have a nice dark finish to them that compliments the overall dark theme, the wheel finish may not be seen in photos as much in person.
Seeing this car in photos does not do it justice. The interior is well appointed and feels very comfortable. As with all other Sonic's it is laid out the same but has that extra Dusk package finish that makes it feel upscale. When sitting inside the Dusk you could easily mistake it for a much higher end car. The fit and finish are amazing for a subcompact "econobox" sub-25K car. Chevy has done a fine job of making the car feel very upscale and even luxurious for such a low price.
That's really all I can say for now since I have not driven the car enough nor broke the engine in properly yet. Once I do I plan to use at least 91 octane and put full synthetic Mobil 1 or Castrol in it. I can't wait to get it out and log these break in miles so I can open her up and get a true feel for acceleration, handling and overal ride quality and experience.
I am truly pleased so far with my Sonic Dusk and have found my self just sitting an staring at it lol. As for the first mods I plan to do I am thinking simple like an intake and that is really about it. I don't have the money or time(active duty military) for numerous performance mods but still want to boost the performance a tiny bit.
