Sonic MPG

I was going to post this info under the appropriate thread but the idiots that set up this board make new posters go here first. I sure don't get that.

Just traded 2012 for a 2015 and here are the numbers:

2012 Sonic LS (bought new) 1.8L 5MT. For three years I averaged:

Combined (approx. 60% freeway/40% city) 34-35mpg (if you flip percentages it was around 31mpg)
Highway (approx 98% highway, 2% city (average 37.8-41.4mpg, median was right around 40mpg)

2015 Sonic LT 1.4L 6MT
Just completed first road trip approx. 350 miles highway, same mix as above: 44.2mpg.

Very happy with both vehicles.

Note these are all readings using onboard indicator. Hand calc is usually slightly lower. Hard to tell because pump kicks off at a slightly different fuel level every fill up.
