I drove 500 miles a week on a tar and chip road. Stones have been breaking right through the grill on the sonic. I had to do something. Lol

I just keep envisioning a masked person robbing a gas station or something!

can you explain how stones are hitting your grill, i drive dirt roads, and tar and stone roads every day and cant recall a time i have ever had a stone hit the front of my car unless they are from other traffic. are they coming from other traffic ? just curious, so i know what to watch out for i don't want to hurt my grill. -_-

I got them on eBay for my HHR about 6 months before buying the Sonic. They didn't really fit the HHR and it was too much work to modify the brackets so I just put them away. I came across them a few months ago while cleaning the garage and decided to try them on the Sonic. Here's a link to the item on eBay: Foglights :banana:

Yeah,

Ride an ATV for a few minutes behind a friend on an ATV on a dirt road and you'll see just how bad it can be. You basically get sandblasted the entire time with the occasional flying rock that really hurts.

Yeah. Unfortunately I get to follow some real high class drivers. The traffic in front does in deed throw a lot of debris up.

Yeah. Unfortunately I get to follow some real high class drivers. The traffic in front does in deed throw a lot of debris up.

Especially those that drift off to the right or left. I avoid the outer lanes if possible.
