Got the radio bezle, top plate and ac bezle all painted grey metallic..Looks really sweet. tried to match the outside of the car close as possible. Gaugle cluster is next followed by the shift bezle

chrome headlight trim

first I would like to say your car is the best looking sonic I've seen. Secondly I would like to know how you got the chrome circle pieces of trim off the headlight.. Thanks in advance

Thank you! The rings have tabs around the headlight that you can get to with a panel tool or plastic pry tool. Each one has a screw at the bottom that you should removethe headlight to get to. I didnt know that so mine broke off. Havnt had an issue with them though.

Yea 1980. Its my dads. He helped me with the springs lol. Its got a 405 olds in it i think. Pretty sick.

how did you get the color matched rear trim piece? did you paint the chrome 1 or buy 1 from a hatch (if they fit)?

Which one? I only painted the taillights then put the carbon fiber on the bowtie.

Maybe the ls didn't get a chrome strip there, like how they didn't get chrome under the windows?
