It hurts me to see the infighting about the voting. This is a subjective process based on our individual "feelings" when we look at the cars as presented in the photos. If your photo(s) suck then don't expect a vote. On the other hand, we don't want the extensive time and $$ put into some of the cars to go punished by sad photography. For example, I greatly appreciate the effort that turtlepants has put into his car, and the effort it takes to make an black car look good (I almost bought a black LTZ and opted for IOM instead because of the challenge of the black paint). But as a semi-professional photographer, I'm also looking at the "package" as a whole as captured in the beauty of the image(s) submitted for the competition.
Ya'all are going to know it if/when I submit my car for a SOTM competition because the pics are going to 'pop' from the screen. But that doesn't mean that I should win .. or, should it??
