Took the DDM intake off and put the stock air box back on. Presto! No pulsing.
No idea what that means. I'll make a new log file tonight and send it in. Still running the Bosch injectors so it's not them. IMO

I wouldn't mind seeing your Verano Dome light mod. I mean, this is a build thread, right?

Yeah, yeah...
The dome light mod wasn't my idea, it was user EX331 and it's actually a thread in the DIY section, check it out it's actually pretty cool and easy to do:

But here is a quick pic of the Verano dome light in the Sonic
It looks pretty much the same but the map lights are separate from the dome light, the map light buttons are backlit which you can sort of see and the blue dot is the accent lighting which casts a soft blue glow down towards the shifter.

Interesting. I'm just running the OEM air filter assembly but I swapped out the flexible crack prone ducting for silicone and aluminum as outlined in this DIY:

Yes, I know there's a hose clamp missing in the picture.
I have seen a few threads talking about quirky issues with some CAI setups as I'm sure you have too. Glad you figured out the cause though!

Got my RS springs put in today that I got from Brad, thanks again for the good deal on those!
I can tell it's sitting a little lower looking at it but when I went to return the spring compressor I couldn't really tell a seat-of-the-pants difference. When I was swapping out the springs you could definitely see the RS ones were shorter holding them next to the LTZ springs. I followed this thread and it was pretty straight forward, even doing it by myself.

What do you mean "something seems amiss"? You are not giving me any information. I've sent in 3 log files with descriptions and explanations along the way. The car seems to be running fine now. What do you see in the latest 2 logs I sent that doesn't seem right?

I purchased my injectors from ZZP, they're at the top of the list here:

To correctly set up my tune for them I just had to go in and adjust the flow rate vs. pressure table for the increased flow of the larger injectors. A couple pages back in my build thread I describe what I did, kinda interesting if you haven't read it already.

Did you change shocks out for RS ones? If you didnt, ride is going to be mushy still. LTZs have the softest shocks.

No, I went ahead and kept the LTZ ones. Although I do have a little over 50k miles on them they are mostly freeway so they still feel pretty tight, and between doing the larger front brakes and rear disc conversion I couldn't justify replacing them quite yet.
When the time comes to replace them I will get RS ones though

I haven't updated my build thread in a while, just been commuting and racking up the miles. I'm excited to get back to getting some stuff done on my Sonic, especially since I just got it paid off, woohoo!
Alright, let's get down to it... I just ordered MPFab's DRS a few minutes ago, I've been wanting that in the worst way and that will be the first thing I do as soon as it gets here. After that I want to finish (or is that start) installing the three gauges I got like three years ago that have been collecting dust.
And probably around this spring or early summer I need to just give it some TLC in the form of a new plastic intake manifold, plugs, air filter, cabin filter, thermostat, etc. All those pesky maintenance things I've been putting off.
Oh yeah and there is also a coolant leak I need to track down, I'm leaking coolant and it's dripping down off the front driver side shipping tie-down hook. I haven't figured this one out yet, because it won't stop snowing and being cold up here

Finally a little bit of nice weather... I got out there and got the Cruze windshield washer nozzles on. The Cruze nozzles are a direct swap and spray a mist pattern instead of the three streams for the Sonic nozzles.

Hopefully the weather will hold out this weekend and I'll get the new radiator and intake manifold installed too.

So it's dripping down the drivers side, I'm not sure what the tie-down hook is but I'm assuming it's that metal loop on the drivers side of the engine, check the hoses going into the driver's side of the engine. I know I had the biggest one loose and that was my leak.
