In hindsight, the hp+ pads may have been to aggressive. Under hard braking I have more braking power then grip, but that should change with a good set of track tires.


All in all I am very happy with the car.

I still go with you have more seat time in a SOnic at an autocross course that I do. Sunday was a wash for me since it started out with rain and then became very slick due to dirt and grass. The Silverdome lot seems more like a rallycross than autocross.

Its amazing just how much the back of my car will slide around a corner when conditions are right.

I have really been fine tuning my driving with the car this year. The car changed so much last year I never had more then 2 events on the same mods.

Thinking about making the jump to royal purple hps series oil. It is not dexos approved but I doubt there will be issues.

I have made the switch to rp hps oil. So far so good. Engine seems to love it.

Also: ITS THE MONTH OF THE SONIC!

Big upgrade month for the subsonic.

It's going up on stands for a week over the 18th. Getting her yearly going over before weather gets cold.

It's a one owner car. In good shape, just needs some brake work. Going down Tuesday to try and seal the deal.
