Sudden loss of power on acceleration and extremely rough idle

Hey y’all!
I’ve had my 2012 Sonic LT for 3 weeks and had no problems with anything until last night.
I was at a stoplight and out of nowhere it began to idle rough, sputter on acceleration, loss of power on acceleration and the check engine light began to flash and the TC light stays on. I pushed the off button for the TC but the light stays on and problems remain.
I am a single mother on a tight budget and am trying to pinpoint the problem to find the cheapest fix

I'm chasing the exact same thing in my fiance's 2013 Sonic. I have narrowed it down and I am pretty sure it is the coil packs. I changed them on my own Sonic a few weeks ago. It is literally a 20-minute job and very easy to do. I changed the spark plugs at the same time. Also very easy.

I replaced my plugs today and am waiting on coil pack to come in. Fingers crossed. Someone also mentioned bad gas and possible clogged injectors???
