I used Mothers wax with an electric applicator and 4 hours of elbow grease. Sadly a week later and it's dirty :blankface:

Not the liquid crap that comes in a bottle. I've never been very satisfied with liquid waxes. They don't seem to encourage the extensive application and elbow grease to work in like paste waxes. And I think it's the labor that creates the shine more than the product.

I could be wrong. And fortunately white doesn't show imperfections as bad as dark colors, but I'm feeling like I'm due for a nice DIY detail.

It's actually the liquid kind, I've grown to prefer the easy application

I also used dish soap on that cleaning as I heard it's good at stripping away old wax and other contaminants which seemed fitting for the 1st cleaning after a salty Illinois winter and also tons of road tar. I don't plan to use it again until next year.

I've never used a clay bar (I want too), so I don't know how effective they work. The dish soap worked pretty good, there were definitely some spots that took alot of to get removed but most tar specks came off with a few wipes.

Thanks bud, I'm happy with the way it's progressing. Now I just need to tint the windows and do something about the mustache and my cosmetic mods will be complete.

Well not so good news. I think my waterpumps going bad.

I just noticed it on my way back from school, stopped at a gas station and noticed a growling sound. Popped the hood and noticed the noise was coming from the passenger side near the water pump.

The Bugger is really effing loud and seems like it came out of nowhere. Time to swap back to stock and go to the dealer.

Yes, we need more info on the intake. How much did it lower Temps? Is it able to pull in enough air?
