taking off exhaust?

tomorrow i plan to take my exhaust off because im tired of my car being so damn quiet, i dont want to do open down pipe so I might unbolt the next section of pipe what ever that maybe. and no i do not have $ for a ZZP exhaust. Anybody else do this? any problems? performance gains/ loses? anybody happen to have a video of a sonic cruze 1.4t with no exhaust???:banana:

Check out Tmo's build thread. He ran his open off the test pipe for a while and had some videos, but it made a miss under his car so he ended up with a side pipe with the stock resonator.

i could only fine cut off muffler, i wanna do second cat to. more turbo spool sounds

I'd recommend just going to a shop and having them run 2 1/2" pipe from the test pipe/second cat back and out the side of the car. Eric has that done with a no cats or mufflers and loves it. A crush bend at the 90 degree to shoot out the side wouldn't hurt much unless you can find a shop that can do mandrel bends for cheap.
