I spoke with the QC plant manger Mr Sperry On right side in Pic, Plant Manager Kevin on the left. The Manual trans units the plant actually were considered another model for some reason. There was a ramp delay of 2 weeks to add the Manual Rs.

It will take a particular mind to understand that this is the mindset that has made me such a big fan of OnStar. Lest we forget, more than one manual tran RS had a VIN before manual tran RS assembly was halted.

I will put together a new thread. I have 60 pics from the Plant today!

I was shocked when the plant QC manager asked if I was good with the vehicle after a though inspection and test drive of 10 miles. He then said to me Now we will put it thru the last final stage of QC and I will expedite this to go out on the truck tonight so you can call the dealer in 48 hour.

Sometimes the plant will run a few vehicles during the shift prior to start of full production of a model to check quality and assembly process. That is what I suspect happened with a few RS Manuals that made it out early.

I was AMAZED they said its time to test drive it! pulled it out of the plant and said you get to drive now!

Yep about prelim models, for example, Bowling Green is building some prelim C7s while completing the buildout for the C6.

I am amazed that they let you take the pre-delivery journey.

I put 10 miles on her and the complete shake down. Not one issue! They pay great attention to details. Fit and Finish was outstanding!

Very IMPRESSED.

What a Super experience to see and know how my Sonic was made by the Great People of Michigan!

I did a rough estimate of what my payments will be like. I'm hoping to get that down payment up, and that APR down.

That vehicle price is my exact invoice price btw.
