The Number of Sonics Now...

I know this is petty...and its a great thing for chevy and the sonic but god damn they are everywhere now...

I had the first one my region persumably all of Ohio bought in mid september...Now my neighbor three doors down has a ugly ass silver one... Idk I hate it...lol I loved getting all the glances and questions when I parked at a parking lot or to get gas. Now Im down to one compliment/question a week....Just makes me sad its like its lost a little bit of its swagger now...I knew it was coming just didnt want to admit it..

Gotta stay one step ahead of em and personalize yours to make it stand above the rest. I have yet to see one other than on the lot, in a city with a a half million peeps.

I was actually surprised by this, I'd never owned a new car before and thought buying one would just make me blend in. I get a lot of questions about the Sonic, mostly people asking about gas mileage and the only ones they've seen have been in commercials.

With my other car, my Fiero, the comments/questions never end, lol. If you like that kind of thing, just get a REAL unique car. Any older sports car gets a lot of comments.

Personally, I'm hoping the Sonic takes over the subcompact market and more owners in my area join the forum so we can have meets and such.

I went out to eat last night in Topeka, KS and in the restaurant parking lot was a car exactly like mine. I wanted to find the owner, but didn't.

i only seen one while driving and that was in Baltimore driving home from the GM training center for E assist. My dealership sells a lot of them but i don't see them on the road.

I see a white sedan regularly and a silver hatch every once in a while. Both are 1.8s. I have yet to see another Turbo version on the road.

There is a victory red LT hatch that parks in the same lot I do I envy her fog lights, but not her automatic 1.8!

I mean... shocker we bought an affordable compact car and now you see a lot of them.

I live in southeast Michigan and have yet to see a Sonic besides my own.

i work at a chevy dealership... ya i see alot of sonics, but it's weird i only have seen one other sonic on the road, but mine will always stick out i love the looks i get and the system i have, makes them look

I am in Omaha, Ne and I am also SAD they are all over here now... I also used to LOVE sitting at a red light and watching people try to figure out WHAT I was driving.... planning to add a dash kit ( orange) and an exterior kit in black and orange to my LOVELY silver Sonic.... to keep me one step ahead of the rest!!

Where I live in South west Michigan I have only seen two on the road and thats it. And the rest are in the dealerships.

I live in the LA area the most car heavy place in the world, i have only seen a white LS Hatch(5spd),a Inferno Orange LT Hatch(1.8 5spd) ,a Silver LT Hatch(1.8 auto),a Cybergrey LTZ Sedan a woman was driving it pulled right up next to me at a light but it was a auto 1.8. I have yet to see a Turbo besides mine and i have been to all the local meets everyday and theres's a meet every day of the week and i've been to Cars&Coffee the last 2 weeks since i had the car as a matter of fact i havent seen a Sonic at any of these car meets...

well i hope to have the first blue ltz sedan in my area...

maybe the blue won't be as popular as the the orange... i have seen about 4 or 5 sonics roaming my area...
