Admin is trying to resolve. I had the same issue.
Apparently an issue when they transferred the forum to a new platform.

Correct. There were permission issues where everything did not transfer correctly including previous member posting privileges, pm notifications and other things.

I still got that message when posting in a thread.
But for the most part it is better.
Sonic_Mike the Admin checks here regularly so he should fix it when he sees it.
