Timing belt question

When do you guys recommend I replace my timing belt. I have a 2012 1.8L
Really worried since this is what went on my last car. Has anyone done it yet ?? I have almost 94 000kms

94000 kilometers? Follow the suggested service interval. 100k miles or 5 years, whichever first that's 160934.4 kilometers.

What special tool is needed to replace the belt?
The independent shop told me he didn't have it. Dealer wanted over a thousand bucks.
I'm going to do it myself.

From reading many sources.. .. this is what works well. Read a few of the reviews.

So how did the timing belt job go? Did you buy the special tool?

How much work was it to replace it?

I wimped out and let a local mechanic do it.
The a/c didn't work the last time we had a warm afternoon. I have no idea if he didn't get something plugged back in or if was something already wrong with my car.
