Took the Sonic Autocrossing!!! (Video)

Finally raced an autocross event. Took my STOCK 17' Sonic LT 1.4
Automatic and raced my heart out. I did 4 runs and improved every single run. I beat some fast cars including a 350Z, Civic Si, Integra, Camaro (V6???) Had an absolute blast. The car handled great for what it was. Good amount of understeer when pushed. Want to get the GM performance suspension, better tires, and a tune and go back out. https://youtu.be/As-OcH5yP-8

Autocross Results

List of the cars the little sonic was able to outrun. I'm pretty impressed. The stock tires are garbage!!! First order of business will be better tires for sure.

Congrats! Nice driving! The list of cars that were slower than you is very impressive. There are some quick cars in there.

I'm so jealous. I've been meaning to do this with my Sonic for a while now.

Thank you! I strongly urge you to go out and race. It is the most fun I've had in a long time. Doesn't feel like it wears the cat to much.
