I tuned this car with the Diablosport 93-octane tune about a week ago. It's a 2013 1.4 LT sedan, stock except for a K&N drop-in air filter. It has 23,000 miles on it.
Well, today, the opportunity presented itself, so I buried the throttle and hung on. It pulled briskly all the way to 131 mph. When I saw 131, the car cut out a little bit, went down to 130, then pulled back to 131, repeat - felt like it hit some artificial limiter. I did choose the option on the DS tuner to get rid of a speed limiter, which I didn't think it had anyway. By that time, I was running out of room, so I let off. But I felt it cut back on me twice. My impression of how it pulled lead me to believe it probably had another few mph in it. I was most interested in watching the road at 131 mph, so I did not happen to get a look at the tach. The car now shifts right at 6000. Simple observation would say whether or not I'd hit 6000 in sixth.
The little car was very stable and steady at high speed. I was really impressed. I don't normally drive it hard. I'm polite with it and I might hit 90-100 every so often.
