Transmission Fluid Spec's

Hello,

I have a 2012 Sonic Ls 1.8 and would like to know if anyone have the part number or information on what transmission fluid do I need for the 5speed manual transmission... Reading through my owners manual says "dealer". Thanks.

You need a GL-4 fluid and 2 quarts of it. You will only need 1.8 quarts to fill it though.
I just did a complete differential and reseal job on mine and it worked out according to spec. Just want to fill until the fluid starts dripping out of the fill hole (with the car sitting level)
