Trifecta ecp without bov installed?

Trying to find some information. Can I buy my tune, ECP enabled, and install my bov at a later date, or do I have to install them both at once.

If you request ECP tuned in from the get go it will run fine. I drove on an ECP enabled tune for a half year prior to getting the Forge Atmo BPV installed.

Enhanced Charge Prediction (ECP). It's essentially running a hybrid MAP and MAF tune to account for the air being vented to the atmosphere when using a atmospheric BOV.

Not trying to thread jack but I just got a forge bov that mounts instead of stock unit. I guess when I get my tune I should get the ecp too.

Yeah, I would put in the notes to have ECP enabled when you purchase. If you don't you're going to run rich during venting events because the ECM will be pushing fuel for the air that is no longer there.

Is there any performance advantage to running an ECP tune with out a Bov?

Probably a dumb question-- but I purchased the Budget Tune back in Nov/Dec... can I run a BOV with that?

I would contact trifecta with your VIN and tune file and have them verify for you
