Turbo emblem

Just curious as to how many prople who are getting thr turbo sonic plan on removing the turbo emblem chevy puts on the back..

Me for sure. A "Turbo" badge doesn't belong on the back of this car since it isn't a sports car or a performance oriented car. And even with a tune and the added performance I still wouldn't keep it on there.

I am also debadging the "onic" in "Sonic" and seeing if the cool "S" looks good by itself. If it looks off center or out of whack without the "onic" I will take the "S" off too.

Def. not a race car but I'd be proud to have the factory turbo badge on, especially since with my tune it will be a 200 hp 14 second car, and just a little weight reduction and excellent shifting away from some shocking drag race victories

Since Sonic is the only car in its class to have a turbo, I plan on leaving it there. Maybe it's not a race car, but it does hold some "cool" factor to having it there, at least in my mind

I'll be leaving it there... But I'm considering trying to get some Holden Barina badges for it just for fun. My friends are still going to call it an Aveo so it really doesn't matter what it says on it. Theres also a guy at my school who has a G8 with a Commodore grill and badges on it, so its kind of a play on that as well.

Badge removal....

Mine will be coming off tomorrow. I love the sleeper look. For all my previous cars, I made it seem like they were the lesser versions of the car.

Example: on my MadzaSpeed3, I removed the MazdaSpeed badge, and put a normal Mazda 3 on there. On My EvoX, I took off the EVOLUTION badge and just left the Mitsubishi (not sure it really made a difference in the EVO, cause it will never look like a sleeper) LOL. Just having that "turbo" badge on, almost invites punks to try to pull on you at a freaking street light.

I've debaged my Sonic totally in the rear, I'll take some pics of mine after I'm done waxing. Not worried about people trying to race me in this car, but just prefer a clean uncluttered look.

When I took the Toyota logo off the back of my celica all I used was dental floss and goo gone. Left the rear end clean and minty fresh

The badge at least looks kinda cool on a black hatch. I may leave it. We'll see how cool it can look after I get the windows tinted and stuff.

The more I think about it, I will leave everything except the "LT" and see how that does for me. I will also be blacking out the chrome bar above the license plate, and probably the front and back bowties as well.

I think you're right, looks a lot better. But im surprised that you guys overseas get the "Chevrolet" badge.

This is how mine came stock, debating removing at least the "onic" maybe the "S" too.
