short time owner. traded my sonic in for a Subie. all around the car was great, but I couldn't handle the seats for my hour drive to work. at first, they were great. just too soft.
more HP than the Sonic and I can feel it off the line and merging on the highway.
since i've got an hour commute to work, I wanted all the bells and whistles, so I sacrificed the MT for the auto with the CVT. first time having CVT, but I like it. and the paddle shifters work pretty well as long as you get your RPM's up to high enough. too low and there's no sense using it IMO.
Wtf never even heard of a crosstrek lol and I felt the same way about my sonic until I got it tuned. With 21 psi instead of 14 its waaaay different, and I went from a trailblazer ss and cobalt ss to the sonic so I know the pain of feeling sluggish, there's just something about my sonic I can't help but love it
