Well... this happend on the way home

I was on my way home and stopped at the bank and from there this happened.. Limped it home with no acceleration to speak of, and if you listen you can here the shifter lock clicking randomly.. any ideas? comments.. sigh... they should of totaled my car in the last accident. :blankface:

Traction control seems to be kicking in and limiting your throttle. Possibly a bad sensor. Try pulling the fuse to the system and see if that fixes it.

Speed sensor is obviously screwed as well. Not familiar enough with the system on these cars. My friends BMW has a speed sensor in his diff. My VW read speed in conjunction with the crank position sensor.

You have CEL, find out what they are.

When I did make it home I did get a P0700, I unplugged the ECU then cleared the codes, had to clear the codes 3 times to make them go away. Now the codes are gone and it "seems" to be working ok now.

P0700 is transmission control module fault. But it doesn't indicate specifics, it could be something that provides data to the TCM, traction control sensors might be included. Are you within warranty ?

Yes its still in warranty, im just wondering if this is from the accident... cause if it is it would be covered by that.

Nothing atm... stealership found nothing, no more codes have popped... just a wait and see now [emoji53]
