This is the only one on a super speedway. It's only once a year on the last Sunday of January. We were thinking of organizing a national group meet here next year. This was my first time doing this and it's a blast!

That would be great. We really didn't have much advance notice so it was hard for everyone to make it this year. As soon as they announce next year's date we'll post it and get as many people as possible.

I decided to remove the intake snorkel today. I cut the snorkel itself off of the plastic piece that connects to the airbox, then re-installed that part so the airbox would still be sealed off from hot engine bay air without having to breathe through a straw anymore.

A little roadside repair today. I got a crack and leak on the water outlet. Luckily I had some JB Weld with me so I was able to make a temporary repair and get back to Vegas. I'll be dropping it off at the dealer in the morning.

I took it to the greatest snow rally in North America. The 50th aniversary of rally Perce Neige in Quebec. I set up the start times for all of the competing cars.

Front door panels have that nice recessed little section. Perfect place for the inserts. I had some thin aluminum sheet laying around. I made and painted the inserts and got the decals on ebay

Manual mode sucks! Too much lag time thinking about shifting after you have already told it to shift.

My day in my Sonic was lame yet rewarding. Put in 482 miles in the tractor, which is a nice KW T680, so the 10 mile commute to/from work was nice and relaxing.

Really ? In manual mine shifts instantly. Was one of the things I really liked about it.

If "What did you do FOR your Sonic" counts, then I'll happily say that DDMWorks got more use out of my Visa today, ordered up their coil cover that I've been wanting for some time now. Changed my sparks a couple weeks ago and the plastic valve cover didn't much like being pulled off in the cold, so one of the clips busted right off....THANK YOU, just been waiting for a reason to order a new one!!

I picked up seats for my cj2a project with it, does that count. Totally not used to the whole 300 mi trip for <$25

I also bought a 24" Phillips screwdriver for no apparent reason. You never know when you'll need one though

Current work in progress. DIY coming once completed. Bottom compartments for Car Paperwork, my amp, and toolkit. Eventual compartments for my first aid and road side assistance kits.

Deck top speakers will have an extended cord to be able to bring it around to the front of the car. Perfect for when I have the kids out playing soccer in a field or when we go to the drive in. Amp will be activated by a separate switch on the Relay.


Dog bed goes on top of the deck so the pooch has a soft spot to lay.
