Is the current plug easy to get out? It looks like one has to take apart the console to screw the new plug in?

Yes, but it takes all of 6 screws to get the console out.

Installed a K&N intake today. Absolutely love hearing the BOV at lift off. Feels like it flows better, esp at higher rpm. Intake manifold porting and a tune are definitely next in line
Has a nice purr, but not much louder than when I drilled holes in the bottom of the stock intake box
....if it has tits or tires it can be upgraded

Indeed, three digit speeds were definitely achieved on the first test run.
This will be my first commute with it... going to ruin my average mpg today [emoji14]

curious to hear if you notice any other changes in the car besides more noise . even if we cant prove and real world gains without a tune . im holding out for the gm intake til their problems are fixed but would scoop up one of these k&n if everyones butt dyno says its a good buy

You should notice a difference at first, but the computer should learn the difference in air intake eventually making the CAI useless without a tune

Five days into installing the K&N intake and i feel like there's still improved throttle response, a little extra something there on hard pulls and in 4th and 5th gear for sure.
The sound from the BOV is TOTALLY worth the cost. I drive around in third playing with the throttle... brrrrr pschaaaah, brrrrr pschaaaah lol
