what did you do to your Sonic today?

I also plastidipped my wheels, I bought the RS center caps that are just a dark grey but they look a TON better plus i get to keep the gold bowtie

I didn't want to keep the gold bowtie, lol.

I tried vinyl on a wheel bowtie and failed miserably.

The wheel pictured there had the center cap removed, because I was going to try to somehow tape off the cap to dip just the bowtie, and leave the rest of the cap silver. I failed miserably at taping it off, so the whole thing was dipped black and put back on.

The other three wheels I didn't even bother taking the center caps off. Figured if I wanted to accent the bowties with another color, I could paint over the dip somehow with whatever color I decide...

I think they look alright how they are, haven't bothered to accent the bowties yet:

You need to use vinyl on the caps. Set it in and shave the raised edge on the bowtie with single sided razor.

I tried - and failed miserably at that. Not bothering to try again. I don't have the patience.

I wouldn't mind taking some silver/chrome-ish paint to just do the raised egde of the bowtie over the dip. I think that would look pretty nice.

I didn't do anything to my sonic but I did buy a deck for my sonic. Gonna install a pioneer deh-x8500bh. Purchased it today on sale for $50 off regular price so I couldn't pass on that. I was looking for the 9500 but no one sells them here in Canada.

Got a new license plate frame (instead of the huge gaudy chain link frame I've had for too long). Just a simple thin black frame.

Now I just need to scrape my old registration stickers off and get a new sticker... because they can now sit higher up, off my letter K.

Stuck on the driver & passenger window vent visors. Been raining all week... ordered them Monday.

And right after I snapped this pic it started to rain again.

Not sure if I'm going to bother with the rear windows. My dog sticks her head out those.
Plus just doing the front windows makes it look sort of... angry/mean.

Curious as to what the general opinion here is about how that looks... just doing the front windows and not the rear. Feedback I've gotten from several people IRL is it looks uneven or silly. Now I can kinda see the silly part, because I see angry eyebrows when I look at it, lol.

Didn't want to put the rears on because I worry about the dog sticking her head out the window and pushing up/out on them. The dog is the only reason I ever have a rear window open at all, so for their function I don't NEED them on the rears.

Just wondering if everyone else thinks it looks uneven/goofy.

I think you should do both.

If it was the ones that stick on the inside like AVS ones, it wouldn't be so obvious. I'm waiting to get those.
