I really need to change my oil today. May even throw the header back on while im already working on the car. It only adds about a half hour to forty five minutes to the job.

So I removed my antennae from the base since I never use the radio, only ipod, and it looks great and will hold me over till I can get a shark fin.

The question I have is, Do I need to cover the threaded hole in the base that the antennae screwed into?? I have heard mixed answers from friends but wanted to hear the consensus here. My friends are 50/50 on this saying it will rust out and seep inside the car from it to its fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Guess I could take the antennae in to Discount and get a bolt that matches to put in to keep debris out. Wouldn't hurt.

Took the family on a weekend road trip to south Florida. 300 miles non-stop one-way, fully loaded with 2 adults, 2 kids, luggage, and the AC on, doing about 70 the whole way: averaged 37mpg according to my calculations at the pump, and the trip computer read 39 mpg. Not bad.

cool i got these off amazon.. i had a gift card and wanted to use it..

these are actually from thailand got them in a week i was surprised how fast they got here. and the quality is good and fit great.
