No harm intended but I would def redo that piece because it is the main piece every person behind you sees and you wouldn't want to put your worst foot forward would you?? Probably only need to clean up the black on the paint and around the edges, or remove clean and re-wrap the whole thing.

I for one can not wrap for a damn so props for attempting it but I feel the execution of this item was a bit off. Maybe the interior piece was easier to wrap since you could hold it? Try removing the bow tie or maybe even dipping it like the trunk chrome, at least it looks like dip on the trunk chrome.

I am going to redo it as soon as I get time. I'm working all the time. I'm going to try and take it off and do it that way. Anyone no how to take it off?

Lowered the back .5'' More now im at 23.5 All around from fender to the floor. Does anyone know what the stock height is on a lt with 15's?

I would heat up the vinyl pull it off. Then spray a decent layer of dip and let it really dry and then pull it up. It should remove all that excess. I would leave the badge on the car cause there's no reason to take it off. Cut out a oversized vinyl stripe and press it on the gold. Then I used my finger nail to press the gap between the bow tie and chrome. Once I had a clear outline I very carefully exacto knifed through that groove. Then I pulled off the excess and made sure to press down all the edges firmly.

Needed to rotate my tires, so I figured it was a good time to wash and wax the wheels again.





Ready for another couple months with just a quick wipe down when I wash the car. When they come off for the winter I plan to take some compound to the inside to clean up the tar on them. Idiots around here like to use cold patch to fix the roads. All it does is cause little bits of asphalt to get stuck to my car and the wheels.
