I don't have a receipt handy but we are currently at $3.19 a gallon for regular at a few local stations. $3.25 at Hess.

I typically go 4 days which is 360 miles on $29

I strictly feed my Sonic Chevron 89 Octane (plus).
Usually when there's two bars left I'll go get gas so it always ends up being 9.simething gallons I put in. It ends up being $34-$36. Last time I got gas it was at 3.59 a gallon (for plus 89 octane). I get gas about every 4 to 6 days..it depends how much I drive on the weekends.

92 octane is $3.99 at Costco in my neck of the woods, other stations as you get closer to Seattle are more like $4.29, looks like we're getting kinda hosed here in Washington State.

Good old 91 non ethanol kwik trip gas at $3.89 per gallon is what I normally run, otherwise it's 3.79 for the 93 with ethanol anywhere else I go.

Why?

I'm sure it's because he's pushing 25 psi like he mentioned in the MAF g/s thread, to keep things safe at those levels is either that or E85.

In Denver, our "regular" is 85 octane. I've been told that due to the altitude we don't need any more than that. My dealer says 85 is fine for the 1.4T. What is the forum's opinion on that?
