What new car is this?!

Saw this on my drive home today on the 15 Northbound spanning from the 60 to up the 215 where they took the exit for 215 East.

I think it's a Chevy!! It was really hard to get good pics. I wanted better ones of the front but I couldn't get any :/
You can kinda see, on the front fenders it has that black strip like the Volt does. The front little side windows match too. Maybe it's a new electric SUV!

There were also cables running from the engine bay into the car attached to a computer that the passenger was monitoring.

And it had Michigan plates.

It definitely wasn't a minivan. It was too small. And the rear doors open like SUV doors. It was the size of a crossover.

I wish I would have thought to look at the steering wheel.

It still looks like a Honda Odyssey though. If it wasn't then I would guess a Honda of some sort as that look is also carried through to the Fit.

Honda is the only company I can think of that makes a vehicle with those stupid windows in front of the wing mirrors.

Granted its lowered with rims, but Honda Odyssey:

The only reason I guessed Chevy was because of the black strips by the front doors/front quarter panels and the stupid little windows that resemble the Volt.

They did a damn good job of covering it up with the padding in that sh*t on the car though.

You know what might help us figure it out is if someone can match the mirror's shape to a manufacturer. They usually use the same and/or similar styles on their cars.

You are right about the stupid little windows. I guess I my hate for Honda and my hate for those windows just mixed.

Companies are usually pretty good about "hiding" their cars in plain sight.

The nose of the car in the pics Bogus took is very blunt compared to that pic. Same goes for the rear end. I see the similarity of the small window in front, but beyond that, not too much.

It looks like a Honda side mirror as well. I would be really surprised if it wasn't a Honda to be honest. I know you said it was SUV like but I still stand by that looking exactly like an Odyssey. I am going to beat that dead horse.

And that Odyssey's in Japan have standard rear doors. Just came Misawa and Kadena and they are pretty popular and usually modified like the picture.

They can just mount what ever shape they really want on their prototype cars. Might not be the best indicator of make.

That picture I posted was slammed, with a bodykit. It was, as suggested, just used to reference the rear doors and glass. I would guess that Honda is testing the Jap spec Odyssey for US specs.

The front and rear ends are too blunt when compared to a 2012 Odyssey:

Look how much space is in front of the front wheel and in back of the back wheel on the Odyssey as compared to the vehicle in the pics Bogus posted.

It may be a Honda, but it certainly doesn't look exactly like an Odyssey based on those body differences...unless it's missing both its front and rear ends.
