I have two left, had the other two pulled recently while awake. First one was done by a normal dentist, second one an oral surgeon but I was wide awake for both and almost passed out after both.

I tried the laughing gas the second time, still wasn't any good, doesn't seem like that crap works on me or something.

Being knocked out has several issues for me, one it makes me feel like complete crap for like a day, and two I don't have the fundage for it.

Our dental insurance doesn't cover much, don't think it even covered the tooth being pulled. I've had the type of dental that covers cleanings and silver fillings but nothing else for like 8 years now. Being it seems near impossible to find a dentist that even does silver fillings these days it's pretty much useless other than the cleanings.

My last filling was a few months ago and it was some epoxy stuff that is tooth colored. Not sure why anyone would want silver fillings.

I think you're looking at it backwards. The insurance does not cover the white fillings, only silver but most dentists won't do silver. So the end result is, insurance doesn't even cover fillings.
