white on black dash backlight

Hi all,
I found such picture on chevrolet.com. Can somebody confirm if new Sonic has white on black backlight?
It is interesting for me because I'm searching a way to change it in my 2012 exactly to white on black
Or it is just a way of taking picter / Photoshop?

Nope...that's just blue like normal

I think its the way the picture was taken. Too much light makes the color fade. Judging by the glare on the dashboard, I'd say they used a strong flash to avoid a silhouette.

I think they used a filter on the camera for that first image...

It would be cool if someone made overlays... I did that on my Contour
So at night the numerals were lit by themselves, and not a single inner light. Not sure if our tach is like that or not....

We have 7 inch display mainly so I don't think that such solution is for us ;-)
Additional question is how is realized backlight color. The LEDs are blue or LEDs are white and fiber is blue? Anybody knows that?
