Why isn't my profile picture showing up when I make these posts?

I just joined the website earlier this morning. I set up a profile picture and it shows up when I click my username, but on posts like these and when I am replying to people it is not there. It isn't anything special, just my ***y sonic that I would like to be shown when I post stuff because it seems too plain with no picture.

Edit: Since it doesn't show the word ***y, I'll replace it with "extrmely good looking sonic"

If you set the picture as your profile picture, that's why. Set it as your avatar. Go to your user control panel and click on "Edit Avatar" on the left vertical menu. It's under the white subheading "Settings & Options"

Thank you. I LOVE the color of your Sonic. I've seen a few Sonics around my area on my commutes to and from work, but have never seen that color. Nice!!
